EducationThe education committee of MCDVS strives to make choices for educational opportunities focusing on relevant issues facing Directors of Volunteer Services. Recent topics have included CAVS certification & renewal, Angels or Ax Murderers (proper selection of volunteers); Find them, Thank them & Keep Them (recruitment & retention), Joint Commission requirements, Fundraising and more! Conferences are typically held twice a year, in the Spring and Fall. Handouts from recent conference speakers can be found to the left.
