How do I renew?Complete application, provide 45 contact hours of qualifying continuing professional education or retake and pass the examination. What is considered qualifying/acceptable education?Educarion relative to Planning and Program Development, Management of Human Resources, Finance, Organization and Management Services, Outreach, Advocacy and Public Relations, and Professional Development. What is a contact hour?A contact hour is 50-60 minutes of educational experience. How do contact hours relate to CEUs?10 contact hours are equivalent to 1.0 CEU. Who grants CEUs?In most cases, the organization providing the education will provide CEU or attendance certificates. How much do I pay?Members pay $135, Non-members $175. Will I be reminded?ASDVS will send a 90-day E-reminder to those up for renewal. When is the deadline for submitting my application?Complete applications must be received four (4) weeks before expiration. |
